New Entrant/Y1 Teacher 

Do you want to be part of a supportive team at an amazing rural school? We are seeking a self-motivated, relationship-driven teacher for our New Entrant space. You must be willing to work collaboratively as our new teacher will be working in our existing New Entrant space alongside our Junior Team Leader. 

We are a well-resourced classroom rural school with 160+ tamariki. We are approximately 10 kilometres south-west of Dannevirke (just half an hour from Ashhurst and Pahiatua). We offer a supportive environment focused around our ROCKERS values. Our community has a long history of actively supporting our school and taking interest in their children’s education. We are very proud of our school and the achievements of our students through the broad curriculum and wide range of learning activities our skilled kaiako provide.

This is a fixed-term position (roll growth) for Terms 3 and 4 2024.

Beginning teachers and ECE trained teachers are welcome to apply. The terms and conditions, including base salary for this position, is set by the Primary Teachers’ Collective Agreement 2023-2025. Applicants must have eligibility to work in New Zealand.
